Counselor of the Year
Greg Stefaniak – CADAS
Greg began the Access to Recovery Program at CADAS and has developed the program into a success. Greg, motivated to enter the treatment field from a different career base, continuously shows great kindness and compassion for others. He is actively pursuing his licensure and consistently attends workshops and supervision, showing a strong desire to develop his professional position in this field. His clients show a high regard for Greg and respond well to his counseling style and methods. He is a true asset to the addiction field.
Professional of the Year
Cindy - CADAS
Cindy is the manager of Transitional Living at CADAS, managing Oasis, Family Way, and the Samaritan House. She has shown great skill in multi-tasking, organization, teamwork, and with meeting the needs of CADAS. Cindy has also been active in professional organizations over the years and consistently maintains her licensure.
Klaus Leuhning - CADAS
Klaus’s experience in life is enough to make him so, from gourmet chef to high seas sailor, to world traveler in businesses. But his true love is knowledge and lecturing on the topic “the disease of addiction”. He designed the “Tenn-Ten” program for Tenncare clients residential treatment. He was instrumental in development of the current residential treatment program at CADAS, where he counseled until his semi-retirement. His lectures are legendary because of his thoroughness and input of personal life experiences. Klaus is sought out, simply for his command of subject matter. He is a current presenter at several facilities throughout the Chattanooga area.
